We understand that you are reading this because you are a forward thinking pet parent who loves your four legged kids just like we do. We are happy to welcome you into our community of good “dog parents” who have consulted with their veterinarians and are about to schedule a Dog Reiki treatment.
Because we truly care about you and your pet, we suggest that you hold any prospective pet healer to the same standards that you would for a medical or healing professional who would treat a human member of your family.
In order to help you make the right choice, here are 5 questions to ask any Reiki healer you are considering to have treat you or your four legged friend.
If you are not satisfied with the answers you get,

5 Questions to ASK BEFORE you schedule
an appointment with ANY Reiki Healer!
1. What qualifications does the prospective healer have?
Authenticity is important to me, as I am sure it is to you. Therefore, since I am a professional, I painstakingly sought out and studied with either the founder of each art I have chosen, or one of their direct descendants.
This is not a 2nd job, get rich quick scheme or hobby for me.
After years of study I have earned a Reiki Level Three Master Certification and have also owned and operated a private healing practice on both the east and west coasts. I have developed a proprietary healing method called Reikiatsu (SM) which utilizes the hidden energy pathways within the body, and after decades of training, I currently hold the ranking of “Nidan” or second degree black belt in the Japanese martial art of Aikido Kokikai. I am also an Ordained Minister who can help comfort and heal you and your pet in times of distress and “letting go.”
2. Does the prospective healer have a certification for completing Reiki Level 1,2, or 3?
It is important that the healer you choose is indeed a Level Three Reiki Master because only then they will have a full understanding of the many healing properties and nuances of Reiki. Since Reiki is taught in stages or Levels, many students with good intentions want to head out and perform Reiki on everyone and everything they see as soon as they learn the basics of Levels One or Two. That is ambitious, but do you really want a beginner working on your pet?
3. Are the prospective healer’s certifications available for you to see?
When I operated my practice at my private studio in Los Angeles, California, all of my certifications were mounted on the walls for any and all to verify. Since I am now performing Healing Housecalls in the Philadelphia area and do not travel with the certificates, I invite you to view them here.

4. Did the prospective healer just recently learn Reiki or do they have considerable, practical, and professional real world experience?
Even though a student may have completed Level Three training, they still might not have very much real life experience dealing with sensitive situations such as yours. Over the years, I have treated humans, dogs, birds, reptiles, fish, horses, and even a bat…
5. Did the prospective healer study with a renowned Reiki Master Instructor or someone who has recently begun teaching? Or even worse; with someone who has just opened a school in the hopes of cashing in by cranking out as many degrees as possible?
I do hope you viewed my lineage chart from answer # 1. If not, I urge you to do so now. Some people learn Reiki Level One as a part of a large class in a quick, two hour seminar that is a travesty to our real heritage. Others may spend a bit more time and have maybe even read some spiritually based books to fortify their healing persona. Worst of all are the fly by night schools that suddenly pop up in hip, trendy areas. In the Martial Arts world, these cash cows are referred to as “Belt Factories” and they denigrate the noble, scholarly, and spiritual tradition of self improvement that is really at the core of these arts. There are surely names for them in the Medical, Alternative, and Health and Wellness communities…
And finally a BONUS question …
Why should you lose valuable time and become even more stressed by driving your baby somewhere just to de-stress?
When considering a healing professional for your four legged friend, please remember that I I’ll make this experience easy for you by traveling to you!
As long as you are within my driving region, I’ll travel to you for a Healing HousecallSM and help you and your dog right where you are.
